Optimum Pressure Containment Spherical Design

Self Venting Internal Shape for "Easy" Filling

Low in Original Cost and Maintenance

Available in 1/4" x 1/2" or 1/4" x 1/4" Outlet x Inlet NPT Connections

Metal Fasteners Have Been Eliminated to Prevent Corrosion in Volatile Atmospheres as well as Eliminate Mechanical Stresses.

SOME COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES TO CONSIDER ARE AS FOLLOWS:

No metal fasteners. Often in more sensitive environments these fasteners can corrode. They also create stress points which, over time, can cause premature failure

Our spherical upper chamber facilitates filling as the design provides for natural venting of the air as the fill liquid displaces.

The upper chamber also provides adequate volume for larger instruments and increased sensitivity.

Our contoured or convoluted diaphragm allows for sensitive transmission of pressure as it offers no resistance to movement. The flat diaphragm found in other units must stretch somewhat decreasing the accuracy of the pressure transmission. For extremely sensitive applications, where compatibility exists, our Viton diaphragm could be considered.

Where other gauge guards use an "O" ring to seal the instrument in the instrument connection, we use a sealing NPT thread to properly seal. "O" ring type designs cause a messy condition after filling and while installing the instrument as the fill liquid is displaced around the instrument thread and out and over the outside of the upper chamber.

SCOPE:

The Marquest Gauge Isolator provides two fluid chambers separated by an impermeable membrane. The upper chamber (instrument side) is normally filled with a stabilized liquid. The lower chamber receives the media under pressure.

Most pressure sensing devices are compatible with 1/4" FNPT outlet. The inlet is standard 1/2" FNPT or 1/4" FNPT.

Chemical resistance and purity levels are as recommended for the base materials.

No metals or lubricants are used in construction, internally or externally.

Custom membranes may be supplied upon request.
